Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OSCE AIde — the website at osceaide.com and the OSCE AIde application (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by OSCE AIde, based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is — and what it is not

Important: OSCE AIde is a communication practice tool powered by AI. It is not official exam material, it is not affiliated with any examining body, and it does not reproduce real examination questions. It is designed purely to help you practise speaking, build clinical communication confidence, and identify areas for improvement — nothing more.

OSCE AIde is an independent, AI-powered study tool that lets you practise spoken clinical-communication scenarios ("stations") with an AI partner, in a format designed to help you prepare for UK dental examination OSCEs. You speak, the AI responds, and you receive automated feedback on your communication.

2. Accounts

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a free trial consisting of one designated station, which may be attempted up to two (2) times. No payment details are required for the trial. After the trial is used, a subscription is required for further practice. We may change the trial's scope for new users at any time.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and the daily usage limit

5. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you normally have a legal right to cancel a purchase of digital services within 14 days. By purchasing a subscription you request immediate access to the Service and acknowledge that, once you begin using the paid Service within the 14-day period, you lose the right to a full statutory refund for that period. If you have purchased but not yet used any paid access, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms. Where practical we will warn you first.

7. Intellectual property

All station content, study materials, software, branding, and design of the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation while your account is in good standing. Feedback and transcripts generated during your sessions are yours to use for your personal study.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party providers (including hosting, database, payment, and AI providers), and outages or changes on their side can affect it. We may modify, add, or remove features, or update station content, at any time. If we permanently discontinue the paid Service, we will refund the unused portion of any active subscription.

9. Disclaimers and liability

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. It forms part of these Terms.
